Handmade Ceramic Wall Sconce – Made to Order
Each Earth Darlings wall sconce is individually handmade to order in my Australian studio. Combining sculptural ceramics, genuine gold lustre detailing and certified electrical components, each piece is created as a functional artwork designed to bring warmth, character and individuality to a space.
Made to Order
Please allow up to 12 weeks for the creation of your piece prior to dispatch. Each sconce is made by hand from start to finish, with multiple stages of forming, drying, firing, glazing and finishing required throughout the process.

Each wall sconce is individually handcrafted and no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. While your piece will closely follow the design shown, slight variations in form, texture, glaze movement, lustre effects and surface details are an inherent part of the handmade process and contribute to the uniqueness of each work.
Dimensions and overall proportions will remain consistent, however every piece will possess its own distinct character and finish.
By purchasing a made-to-order Earth Darlings piece, you acknowledge and celebrate the natural variations that make handmade ceramics truly one of a kind.

This wall light shade comes with a brass lamp holder (240v 50 Hz) compliant with AS/NZ standards, RoHS-compliant, and approved for European markets.

The customer should only proceed with the installation of the light after consultation with a qualified electrician and / or builder in order to determine any extra site-specific suspension requirements and to ensure that the light shade is suspended correctly. Electrical work should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
*Mounting hardware is included for installation on hardwood surfaces only. For other wall types, suitable fixings must be selected according to the wall substrate. Installation should be carried out using appropriate fixings for the intended mounting surface.
Globe Requirements
The sconce requires a round G45-shaped bulb with an E27 screw base (68 - 70 mm high) 120 v / 240 v depending on the regional requirements. If unsure check with a local qualified electrician in your area. It's best to use a low wattage globe to prevent to ceramic shade from holding heat. A 7 watt LED is recommended.
Aesthetic Considerations
Please be aware that the shade has an element of texture (being hand-formed and hand-carved)
The shade has been photographed under natural light with the aim of showing a true representation of the product. Please be aware that the product colours may appear slightly different depending on the device being used to view the image
Each shade varies in thickness and weight being hand made.
Dimensions
Measurements are approximate and listed in the title. Dimensions are listed as are height x width. Please allow for slight variations.
Care and Cleaning
Clean with a soft brush (like a toothbrush)
For indoor use only
Suitable for dry indoor areas like bedrooms, living rooms and hallways
Not suitable for bathrooms or other damp indoor spaces.
